Summary of the work Assess agile maturity&culture, identifying improvement opportunities. Work with delivery teams to apply best tools&techniques to: team roles, behaviours, structure, culture, agile ceremonies&practices, knowledge transfer and sharing, understanding and communicating business value. Work with business teams to optimize collaboration with delivery teams, enabling stakeholders to have accurate¤t status,without disruption to delivery Specialist role Agile coach Expected Contract Length 3 months with possibility to extend Latest start date Monday 20 August 2018 Who Speclialist Work With Primarily with the Service Manager and Delivery Manager from one of our service teams What Specialists Work On The Agile Coach is responsible for supporting the establishment, delivery and maintenance of Agile capabilities within the Digital Service, in line with the Digital by Default Service Standard. Working to the Head of Digital Practice and with Delivery and Service Managers, the Agile Coach will support the development and delivery of Agile capabilities. The Agile Coach will provide awareness, direction, education and training in Agile principles, methods, techniques and tools and will help to assure service, platforms and products are developed in improved in line with agreed business priorities by ensuring there is relevant collaboration and team membership. Skills & Experience • Please provide evidence of expertise in the principles, use and adoption of agile practices (2 points) • Please provide evidence of expertise of working in a multidisciplinary software development team. (2 points) • Please provide evidence of expertise in coaching, training, knowledge transfer and mentoring of teams and individuals.
