Tender description

The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) for Healthcare is a structured process aimed at driving innovation through the procurement of Research and Development (R&D). It provides innovative solutions to public sector challenges and business opportunities to technology-based businesses. NHS England is looking to award a contract to an organisation, or a consortium of organisations, to deliver the PMO (Programme Management Office) function of the SBRI programme. The contract will specify the following responsibilities (list is not exhaustive) to be delivered over an initial 5 year term: — Identifying NHS need to inform the focus and design of SBRI competitions, — Publicising competitions, — Managing the competition process, — Drafting, executing and managing contracts, — Measuring programme benefits, — Managing complaints, — Working with stakeholders to support the spread of SBRI innovations, — Reporting on progress, outcomes, deliverables and risks, — Promoting The SBRI Programme and facilitating events.
