NHS Halton CCG - Urgent Treatment Centres NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) are working on behalf of NHS Halton CCG who wish to procure Urgent Treatment Centre services for patients living in the Borough. Halton CCG are looking to undertake a two-stage procurement process under the provisions of the Light Touch Regime, to award a 3-year contract, with the option to extend up to 2 years (3+2). The estimated total value of between £25 million and £30 million for the opportunity included in this notice is based on the total potential contract term of 5 years (3+2). NHS Halton CCG (Contracting Authority) is intending to run a procurement for two Urgent Treatment Centres, one to be provided in Widnes and one to be provided in Runcorn. These services are an evolution of the current service provided at the respective Urgent Care Centres, and is based on a nationally mandated set of requirements that are detailed in the Urgent Treatment Centres - Principles and Standards, published in July 2017. The two UTCs may be procured in 2 LOTs and this will be confirmed at the commencement of the tender process. If this tender is divided into LOTs, the first LOT will be for Widnes and the second LOT will be for Runcorn. The value of between £25,000,000 and £30,000,000 is for the 5 years (3+2) for both LOTs and indicative only. The Authority would welcome the opportunity to meet with Potential Providers to gain an understanding of the provider market for this service. A market engagement session is to be held on Tuesday 18th September 2018 at Holiday Inn, Wood Lane, Beechwood, Runcorn, WA7 3HA. Due to venue availability the Authority requests that only registered participants attend and is restricting also attendees to a maximum of two per organisation.
