Tender description

Navigation equipment. The Commercially Supported Shipping (CSS) Team has a requirement to provide compatibility across the fleet by providing Navigational and Situational Awareness (NavSA) systems for up to 225 craft.The resulting framework agreement will be for the supply and in-service support of the NavSA system including, but not limited to, post design services, supply of the systems, repair, spares provision and software updates. Due to the varying operational roles of the craft being fitted with NavSA it is proposed to split the requirement into two levels of NavSA system - a non-tactical system (SCSA) providing basic navigation and situational awareness information and a tactical system (SCSA(T)) providing a discrete messaging service (for data transfer, etc.) as well as the basic navigation and situational awareness information. The Authority intends to place one framework agreement for both systems which will be of 4 year duration with 3 1-year options to extend.
