Tender description

The pathology laboratories have 3 immunoassay analysers that require replacement. This creates an opportunity to review the immunoassay strategy for the laboratories. Currently, there is a mainline biochemistry platform that is not to be replaced, a secondary biochemistry platform that is to be replaced, and primary and secondary virology platforms that are both to be replaced. The intention is to procure a suite of analysers that: — accommodate most or all of the existing repertoire, — allow greater flexibility with the use of instrumentation across laboratory disciplinary boundaries, — potentially facilitate repatriation of referred tests, — deliver operational efficiencies, and — deliver cost savings.
