Who Speclialist Work With Primarily working with the Enterprise Architecture and Service Design departments, engaging other stakeholders as necessary to complete the work. What Specialists Work On To lead on the production of a business case and specification for the procurement and implementation of an Integration Service. The output will need to include: - high level integration/data-sharing requirements - recommendation of most appropriate business model and shortlist of software providers - roadmap, approach and strategy for successful implementation, adoption and governance of service - financial & non-financial benefits - risks to be aware of before commencing procurement Where the Work Takes Place Nottingham. Mainly at King's Meadow Campus. (May occasionally be at University Park, Jubilee or Sutton Bonington campuses) Early Market Engagement Some initial work has been carried out by the University relating to requirements and potential options for delivery of the Integration service including some discussions with suppliers. Working Arrangements Office based - on site minimum of 3 days per week Work Location Nottingham. Mainly at King's Meadow Campus. (May occasionally be at University Park, Jubilee or Sutton Bonington campuses) Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Must have experience of producing business cases for strategic integration services that have been approved (10 points) Must demonstrate knowledge of different integration operating models, the relative positives and negatives of each style and how these apply to different organisations (10 points) Must demonstrate knowledge of and experience with multiple integration technologies (10 points) Must demonstrate knowledge of different application integration styles (10 points) Must demonstrate experience of producing system specifications for procurement (10 points) Must understand the significance of service definitions and service contracts (20 points) Must understand various integration versioning approaches (10 points) Should be aware of the differences between system, process and experience integrations (10 points) Nice to Haves Must demonstrate experience within multiple business sectors (5 points) No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Evidence company values (10 points) Demonstrate consultancy skills and how working styles change to adapt to different organisations needs (10 points) Evidence how the approach meets the organisational strategy (5 points) Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (10 points) Must be aware of the significant cultural change required to adopt centralised managed integration service (20 points) Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range specialist to propose
