Tender description

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are seeking bids for the provision of funeral services There are2 requirements: 1) Collection and delivery of specimens and donations for the National Repository Centre including funeral services; 2) Neonatal Funeral Services. Suppliers may bid for one or both services. The National Repository Centre (NRC) is located at the City Campus of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and was established in 2015 to support members of the public who wish to donate their bodies to medical science and training. The NRC provides quality specimens to other institutions around the country. A provider is required to bring donors into our care and collect and deliver specimens locally and nationally. A basic cremation service is required for donations. We require a provider of funeral services for neonatal and non-viable foetal remains under 24 weeks of gestation.
