Summary of the work A Digital Service Management Specialist is required to develop a Digital Services business function and support the development of the Group Digital Service to establish a merged service including workforce and strategy development, governance and financial management. Specialist role Delivery manager Expected Contract Length 9 Months Latest start date Monday 30 July 2018 Maximum Day Rate In the range of £500-£600 per 7.5 hour day (Including Travel and Subsistence) Early Market Engagement N/A Who Speclialist Work With Senior Management team within the Northern Care Alliance Group as well as key stakeholders across Greater Manchester. What Specialists Work On A Digital Service Management Specialist is required to develop and implement a Digital Services business function and support the development of the Group Digital Service to establish a merged service including workforce and strategy development, governance and financial management. Skills & Experience • Financial management – budget, capital and service-based cost models • Governance/business management - development of programmes and processes • Assurance programmes – internal audit and risks • Service Expansion/Consolidation including SLAs • Digital Programme Plan Developments including Industry standard frameworks utilisation • Previous NHS IT Service Development experience including Programme Setup and Organisational Development • Previous experience of preparing plans for Digital aspects of service provision, contributing to strategy and lead on advising on long-term strategic IM&T/business planning for the whole organisation • Responsible for developing policy and procedures for Digital Services, which will impact across the whole organisation • Previous Experience of financial management at a senior management level • Managed a Business Management function • Full driving licence, use of own vehicle and appropriate business insurance cover Work Location Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust Stott Lane Salford M6 8HD (requirement to travel to additional Trust and Council sites throughout the GM area) Working Arrangments On site 5 days per week (7.5 hours per day) Security Clearance N/A Additional T&Cs N/A No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Senior stakeholder management skills, with ability and confidence to work at board level Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1.
