Tender description

The integrated SAP business systems ERP, CRM and SRM are collectively known as SAP Business Suite, underpinned by a technology layer called SAP NetWeaver. SAP maintenance support for the Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver has a finite lifespan and the University is now planning for migration to successor products. To continue running equivalent functional scope for SAP Business Suite involves a system conversion of the SAP ERP system to S/4HANA. Initially, the University intends to convert to SAP ERP to S/4HANA with minimal disruption. The second phase of the project would address opportunities for innovation that the new system brings. As part of the initial phase the University is seeking expert advice and services from a partner with significant experience in completing S/4HANA projects including validation and assurances about the approach to implementing, and design, of the new solution. The university is purchasing implementation services and consultancy under the SAP Value Assurance programme. The S/4 HANA implementation including SLCM requires expertise and capabilities which currently only SAP can provide. The package of days is broken into Prepare, Explore, Realize and deploy and cover the first stage implementation as mention in II.1.4) above.
