Tender description

Torbay Pharmaceuticals have been manufacturing pharmaceuticals for over 35 years and is wholly owned by Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. They are currently the largest NHS pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in the UK, manufacturing a range unlicensed and licensed terminally sterilised injectables, and CE Marked Medical Devices across a range of therapeutic areas. Annual Turnover is circa £20m pa and all profits are returned to the NHS Trust. The relocation and amalgamation of all sites to a single new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility is now complete: With this move, Torbay Pharmaceuticals will be positioned to continue to meet the market demand, capitalise on business partnerships and opportunities, whilst supporting the NHS and other customers. Following a comprehensive strategic review the strategy for the organisation has been defined and agreed implementation will commence early 2018
