Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council(the Purchaser) is seeking to procure a turnkey contract for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a Dry Mixed Recyclate (DMR) facility, with the capacity to process at least 65 000 tonnes per annum of feedstock at their Amgen site in Bryn Pica, Llwydcoed, Aberdare Amgen Cymru provides a wide range of waste management services to the residents and businesses of Rhondda Cynon Taf and is the trading name of Cynon Valley Waste Disposal Company Ltd. It is the Local Authority Waste Disposal Company (LAWDAC), wholly owned by the Council. Amgen Cymru receive mixed dry recycling from varying sources before being sorted at the Material Recycling Facility (MRF), this operation is key to Amgen Cymru.
