Tender description

Hampshire County Council invites suitably interested organisations or consortia to Tender for the opportunity to develop a Health and Wellbeing Campus in Havant. This development is being led by Hampshire County Council on behalf of the County And the South Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SEH CCG). This project includes the opportunity to: — Develop a 1.9 ha site close to Havant town centre, — Design, build, own and operate a nursing home of at least 60 beds, of which the Council and SEH CCG will hold options on up to 30 beds in total, — Design, build and be the landlord of an Affordable Extra-Care Housing Scheme of at least 50 apartments, — Deliver Care and Support in the Affordable Extra-Care Scheme for up to 5 years, — Provide additional appropriate ancillary development on the site. In addition, the successful organisation or consortium may make appropriate use of any remaining land on the site. This may include expanding the size or facilities of the above buildings. This procurement was advertised as an Open Procedure: Hampshire County Council invites suitably interested organisations or consortia to tender for the opportunity to develop a Health and Wellbeing Campus on an approximately 1.9 hectare site known as Oak Park in Havant. This development is being undertaken on behalf of Hampshire County Council (HCC) and the South Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SEH CCG) and includes the opportunity to: EN Standard form 02 — Contract notice 5 / 16 — design, build, own and operate a nursing home of at least 60 beds (under a long-term lease) in which HCC and the SEH CCG will have options to purchase up to 30 beds in total for reablement or rehabilitation purposes under an options agreement, — design, build and be the landlord of an Older Persons Affordable Extra-Care Housing Scheme of at least 50 apartments (under a long-term lease), — deliver care and support within the Affordable Extra-Care Housing Scheme for a period of up to 5 years. In addition, the successful organisation or consortium may make appropriate use of any remaining land on the site. This may include expanding the size or facilities of the above buildings above the specified minimum, or other uses to support the viability of the development. Interested organisations should note that as part of this project, HCC is procuring an option of up to 20 nursing home beds (of the 30 beds referred to above) on behalf of SEH CCG. The successful nursing home owner and operator will contract directly with the SEH CCG in respect of this option.
