Tender description

A Request for Proposal (RFP) has been prepared by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts for the purpose of seeking interest and outline proposals from potential suppliers for provision of specialist consultancy services primarily to support its active BOND programme, but also other ad hoc requirements. The BOND programme oversees — the relocation of ECMWF’s data centre from its current facility in Reading, UK to a new data centre in Bologna, Italy. ECMWF is looking to create a ‘pre-approved list of suppliers’ for four different consultancy ‘service areas’: — IT strategy, IT architecture, technology testing and commissioning, and technical support in project deliver, — Building services engineers, CAD and BIM services, testing and commissioning, — Project and Programme management, cost control, — Interior design and space planning. The RFP will remain open on a rolling basis for a total of 12 months. The initial ‘closing date’ is 17.8.2018. Every thirty days thereafter, ECMWF will evaluate all any further responses received. The duration of the agreement will initially be 2 years which then may be extended for a further year.
