Tender description

The Authority wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of building maintenance works and services to its’ non-domestic property estate which encompasses over 400 Council buildings including schools, offices and listed buildings including Cardiff Castle and City Hall. Property services delivers these services through a combination of its own in-house labour force of fully trained and qualified tradesmen and external contractors under a centrally procured Framework Contract. The framework will be divided into 4 lots covering Statutory obligations testing and remedial work, emergency, responsive, and minor Maintenance work with a value up to 20 000 GBP, and maintenance work with a value between 20 000 GBP and 100 000 GBP. Statutory obligation testing, remedial work and cyclical maintenance on the Council's Non-Domestic estate which numbers over 400 buildings including Schools, and office buildings such as City Hall and County Hall. General building and Mechanical and electrical works including Emergency repairs, Responsive works (0-2 000 GBP), Minor Maintenance (up to 20 000 GBP) in the North of Cardiff. This lot includes all Mechanical and Electrical and general building works with an estimated value over 20 000 GBP up to a value of 100 000 GBP.
