Tender description
This tender is to cover the Supply of Single Use Equipment as and when required by CPI. This agreement is split into 2 lots: Lot 1 — Flexible Silicone and Heat Weldable Tubing; Lot 2 — Connectors and Tube Fittings; Lot 3 — Bags/Liners; Lot 4 — Pumps; Lot 5 — Bottles/Manifolds. CPI requires flexible silicone tubing covering a wide range of sizes and Heat Weldable tubing that can be used to connect single-use bags and containers. CPI requires the following connections and fittings: — Sterile connectors that can be used in non-sterile environments. Genderless would be preferred but please specify the nature of the connection. Please offer the range of sizes available. Connectors must be autoclavable (specify temperature threshold), — MPC/MPX connectors required for the linking of silicone tubing and bio-process bags connections. Connections must be autoclavable (specify temperature threshold). Please provide the range of sizes and range available, — Bio-compatible Fittings to provide a seamless transition between flexible tubing and fittings throughout the fluid path. Examples of fittings required: luers, wyes, tees, cross, elbow straight connectors, tri-clamps, retainers and reducers. Please provide a range of sizes and prices for each. Connectors must be autoclavable (specify temperature threshold). CPI requires the supply of single use tank liners, 2D storage bags, and mixing bags for the storage, transfer, and handling of media and buffer during the processing of bio-pharmaceutical products. These items must be suitable for use in the production of bio-pharmaceutical products. CPI requires the supply of pumps for use during the development and execution of bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. These pumps should be capable a wide range of liquids with a high degree of accuracy. All pumps and electrical items should have a standard UK plug and meet the UK standards for electrical equipment. There is a requirement for single-use bottles with attached lines and air filters. They must be sterile and ready to be attached directly to 10 L laboratory-scale bio-reactors. Attachment should be done by heat welding or sterile connectors (e.g. Colder AseptiQuik).
