Further to previous messages regarding this advertised opportunity, Staffordshire University has withdrawn the tender and no award is being made. This is in line with the contents of Part B, Instructions to Tenderers, 3, Reserve of Right, “Staffordshire University reserve the right, without prior notice, to change the procedures outlined in this tender, to terminate the tender process or to terminate discussions and the delivery of information at any time before entering the contract”. In accordance with Section 72 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, a 1 year extension to the current contract is being issued. The University Executive are reviewing arrangements for the annual Graduation Ceremonies from 2019 onwards and at this stage, it is not appropriate to award a contract that is subject to significant and material change.
