Tender description
The FC has an ongoing requirement for the provision of soil surveys across all of Scotland * The framework value is given as 750 000 GBP, which is the maximum budget available. The individual lot values add up to 480 000 GBP. This is the minimum budget available. 1.3) The FC has an ongoing requirement for the provision of soil surveys across all of Scotland. The successful “applicant (s)” will be required to: — Carry out site / soil surveys of afforested, clear felled, open hill and ex-agricultural land (please note that a large proportion will be either afforested or clear-fell), — Record the site / soil patterns and associated specific data, using the FC soil classification, — Map Soil Polygons and associated linear and point data in a digital format, — Deliver all data outputs from the survey, as specific format GIS themes (currently a bespoke version of GIS Forester), together with associated attribute tables, — Produce a written report for each site.
