In January 2018, Anchor went live with a proof of concept (POC) implementing 2 systems to manage key processes for medication administration and care planning across 2 of our care homes. The objectives of the POC were to evaluate if: the electronic systems would improve our customer experiences; achieve efficiency savings and assess if they were fit for purpose and would support key operational processes. The outcome of the POC was positive and on that basis are issuing a PQQ to gain a better understanding of the market to see how it can help Anchor deliver a solution to digitise both medication adminstration & care planning proceses across all care homes and extra care services.
