Multi Party Framework Agreement for Architect-led design and associated services for the provision of apartment developments, delivered through use of volumetric construction solutions in 2 lots

Tender description

Dublin City Council is seeking to establish 2 no. multiple-operator framework agreements (to be establised on the basis of initial compatitions) for the provision of architect-led, multi-disciplinary consultancy services in connection with a number of projects for the design and delivery of system build apartment developments delivered through the use of volumetric construction solutions within the Dublin City Council’s administrative area (over a maximum of 4 years). The multi –disciplinary teams will be Architect led and will comprise the following disciplines: • Architect • Civil & Structural Engineer • Mechanical & Electrical Engineer • Fire Safety Consultant • Quantity Surveyor • Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) Note: Additional disciplines may be required on a project by project basis, to be procured in accordance with the requirements of Dublin City Council’s procurement policy. Framework members will be required to provide design and associated services for stages (i) – (v) of the Capital Works Management Framework or a subset thereof as required in each individual project. The framework team will be required to provide the following specialist skills: • Design team lead • Employers Representative for the Works Contract • Design Certifier (for stages (i) – (ii))* • Ancillary certifier (for stages (i) – (ii))* as appropriate to each discipline • Assigned Certifier (The full requirements of BCAR’s as applicable at the time of signing of the contract shall apply) (for stages (i) – (v))* • Fire Safety Design • Universal /Accessibility Design • Energy Consultant *Design and build (public works with contractor design) from stage (iii) onwards.
