Tender description

Orbis Public Law (OPL) is the partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC), East Sussex County Council (ESCC), Surrey County Council (SCC) and West Sussex County Council (WSCC) Legal Service departments. SCC (the “Council”) is procuring this Framework Agreement on behalf of itself, the other OPL Authorities and the District and Borough Councils within the OPL counties (Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex) are named as contracting authorities who may Call-off from this Framework at their discretion throughout the duration of the Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement consists of multiple Lots covering transactional casework and Counsel / Advocacy legal services in various areas/specialisms. The term is 3 years plus a 3 year optional extension period (total 6 year term). Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Adult Social Care. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Pensions. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under SEN Tribunals and Education. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Commercial Law, Contracts and Procurement, Telecoms and IT Law, Construction Law Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under FOI, GDPR, Monitoring Officer, Local Government Law, Information Law and Media. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Environment, Highways, Planning, Property and Housing. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Litigation including (but not limited to) Civil, Criminal, Environmental Health, Licencing & Housing, Employment and Contentious Construction. Counsel/Advocacy legal support and advice in a variety of areas/specialisms under Lots 1-7. Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Children’s Social Care. Counsel/Advocacy legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Children’s Social Care. A range of Costs Lawyer Services, allowing Framework Customers to meet changing demands and supplement any in-house capability. Access to Liability Claims Loss Adjusters and Property Loss Adjusters.
