Tender description

1.2 Scope of works 1.2.1 The works to be provided under this contract are described in Schedules 1 and 2 of the Specification in Section 6 of this document but in summary comprises (1) 11 no. percussive sample/rotary cored boreholes to a maximum depth of 6m with associated geotechnical sampling, in situ and laboratory testing. (2) 16 no. hand dug soil sampling trial pits at 1.2m depth (3) 12 no. hand dug inspection pits to confirm the location and depth of the utilities in the verge. (4) 2 no combined soil sampling and utility location trial pits. 1.3 Deliverables 1.3.1 The Contractor is required to produce the following deliverables: (1) Report detailing existing statutory undertaker apparatus services present, depths located, layer makeup. (2) WM3 - see A36 Alderbury Trial Pit Specification (External) FINAL - document supplied for specific requirements (3) Window sampling factual report as per the Specification for Ground Investigation
