Tender description

Hertsmere Borough Council on behalf of all other District / Borough Councils within Hertfordshire is seeking a Contractor to provide software and undertake an ongoing review of business rate properties. The Council is looking for an electronic software solution to assist in forecasting the outcome of the appeals submitted to the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) and other potential threats to the local rating list along with potential Rateable Value (RV) growth in the area. The supplier shall assist in identifying properties which are not present on the current rating list. The services and software solution will be known as the NNDR Software Solution. The framework will be for a period of 4 years, with commitment from the Councils for a minimum of 2 years (after which they may extend for 2 further 1 year terms). Hertsmere Borough Council; 2. East Herts District Council; 3. North Herts District Council; 4. Stevenage Borough Council; 5. St Albans City and District Council; 6. Watford Borough Council; 7. Three Rivers District Council; 8. Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. The framework contract shall be for a period of 4 years. After the first year of the contract there is the option for the Council’s named above, or any other Hertfordshire Council to undertake a review as and when required.
