Sutton Council intends to commission a housing support service for vulnerable single homeless adults, aged 18 years and above, with mental health needs, substance misuse problems and individuals with a history of offending. This service will include a floating housing support service for households. Sutton Council intends to commission a housing support service for vulnerable single homeless adults, aged 18 years and above, with mental health needs, substance misuse problems and individuals with a history of offending. This service will include a floating housing support service for households. The service will provide short term housing support to 130 units of supported accommodation across a number of social housing properties in the borough for single adults and a floating housing support service for households who are living in other types of accommodation. The Provider will have the additional responsibility for carrying out housing management to furnished supported accommodation and to provide an out of hours concierge service. These additional services will be funded through a Housing Benefit eligible rent and not the housing support contract.
