Suffolk County Council are currently out to tender for the provision of Domestic Abuse Outreach Services This opportunity is available in the “Current Tenders” area of portal. Interested parties are invited to express their interest to gain full access to the tender documentation. The deadline date for submissions of the tender is 4.6.2018 at 12:00 noon. Please note late returns will not be permitted. The deadline for clarification questions is Friday 18.5.2018 at 5:00 pm which must be generated via the correspondence option on the website. Suffolk County Council, working with partners in the ‘Suffolk System’, have developed a Strategy to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls, (including Men and Boys) in line with the Home Office strategy of the same name. Recognising the connections and similarities in many of the VAWG crime types, our collective ambition is to; Reduce the likelihood and personal impact of becoming a victim of Violence Against Women and Girls (including Men and Boys) in Suffolk, reducing VAWG in all its forms by 2021. The Domestic Abuse outreach service will be critical in achieving this ambition, with Domestic Abuse currently presenting as the largest crime time in this agenda. The services will offer an accessible, community base service across Suffolk for medium risk victims of domestic abuse and their children, providing appropriate information, support and interventions to maintain their safety, enable them to recover and rebuild stability, resilience and well-being.
