Tender description

In order to fulfil the Authority’s legal duty to maintain the public highway it runs a dedicated highway winter service from October to April. As part of this service precautionary salting is carried out when weather forecasts indicate the possibility of hazardous conditions. Accurate, detailed and reliable weather forecasts specific to Nottingham City must therefore be obtained and utilised in order to make the most informed decision.
