Care and Support in the Home Service Engagement Event

Tender description

A number of services that the Council presently commissions to support adults with assessed support needs in their own homes, undertake similar tasks. There is, therefore, an opportunity to improve consistency of delivery and potentially bring services together under one contractual arrangement, with the aim to reduce silos, avoid duplication and improve outcomes. The services within the scope of the Care and support in the Home commissioning activity include: - Home Care - Supporting Independence Services - Discharge to Assess - Extracare Support Please note, that Supported Living Services are not in scope for this provision. The new Contract will commence in April 2019 and this is a invitation to inform potential suppliers of the Council’s intention around these services. It will also provide the market with the opportunity to engage with the Council on the proposed specifications and contractual requirements and for the Council to gather market intelligence.
