Tender description

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has appointed a supplier to provide a grants administration and payments service in respect of two grants schemes. Essentially the services will entail: — Creating visible grant schemes, including setting up a website for the schemes and documented guidance, which will replace the current website provision. — Checking applications made against criteria specified by the Department, — Processing of applications and handling rejected applications, — Processing of payments, — Processing complaints and appeals. We have appointed a provider to administrate the Listed Places of Worship (LPW) and Memorial Grants Schemes (MGS). The current annual scheme budget of up to £42m is funded to continue at this level through to 31.3.2020 and has paid out since its inception approximately 223 000 000 GBP. LPW and MGS are demand led schemes and throughput may fluctuate each year. We anticipated that the value of this contract would be within the range of 500 000 — 1 400 000 GBP. However, this is indicative only, we provide no guarantee of volumes and value may be higher or lower depending on demand for the scheme.
