Tender description

Northamptonshire County Council (the “Authority”) wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services in respect of care leavers support service at Belinda Ferrison House, Northampton. The successful provider will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the contract manager identified by the authority. This ITT is being managed by LGSS procurement on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council (NCC), and in accordance with the public contracts regulations 2015. This tender process is being managed by the authority in connection with a competitive procurement exercise that is being conducted in accordance with a process based on the open procedure under the public contract regulations 2015 (“the Regulations” (as amended)). The services to which this procurement relates fall within the “Light Touch Regime” (LTR) governing procurement of health, social, education and other service contracts. Neither the reference to “ITT”, “SQ”, the use of the term “Tender process”, nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authority intends to hold itself bound to any of the regulations, save those applicable to “Light Touch Regime” (LTR) provisions. Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the regulations detailed in Chapter 3 particular procurement regimes Section 7. The contracting authority are not voluntarily following any other part of the regulations. The procedure which the contracting authorities are following is set out in the ITT.
