Tender description

Gwynedd Council is calling on local service providers who may be interested in tendering for the suite of new preventative and early intervention service for families across the county. Funded by Welsh Government’s flagship Families First programme as part of the Child Poverty Strategy for Wales, services are aimed at breaking the cycle for vulnerable families. As per Welsh Government, there will be a particular focus on the new services under 3 broad themes: — promoting positive parenting on the family as a whole and tailor services to needs - adverse childhood experience awareness promoting on ace led intervention, — health and wellbeing development for families, — support for teenagers and their parents, and, — developing therapeutic led services for families that will include counseling and mentoring support. The Family Support Team that will cover the whole of the Meirionnydd area. Provide specialist support to the 3 newly developed Family Support Teams. Provide specialist support to the 3 newly developed Family Support Teams in Gwynedd. Will provide specialist support for the family support teams in Arfon and Dwyfor.
