Sensory Needs: Visual Impairment and Hearing Impairment Support Services

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations to support individuals with visual impairment and/or hearing impairments. Successful organisations will be put on a list of preferred contractors, and contacted on an ad-hoc basis to provide support and specialist skills when required. Support is likely to include, but not limited to; Specialist Hearing Impairment Assessments Interpretation Specialist Visual Impairment Assessments Rehabilitation Other specialist support may be required throughout the duration of the contract and preferred providers will be the first to be contacted. The Council reserves the right to undertake a qualification exercise dependent on the number of organisations who express an interest. Anticipated Value: This is a preferred provider spot purchase contract. Support will be purchased on an “as and when needed” basis. Therefore, no minimum or maximum values apply. In 2016/17 the expenditure on Hearing Impairment and Visual Impairment Support Services was £25000 and in 2017/18 it is anticipated that expenditure will be approximately £37000 In order for the Council to keep organisations updated with any clarifications or changes to this opportunity, organisations must register their interest against this advert.
