Tender description
Leicester Environmental Volunteers won the Environmental Services Innovation Award for green space innovation at a ceremony hosted the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) in October 2017. The scheme is run by Leicester City Council’s parks department and covers a variety of environmental, conservation and horticultural activities. Last year, 5,930 volunteers donated more than 58,000 hours of their time under this initiative.
