Tender description

NHS England, North (Cumbria & North East) commissioning team are hosting a second market engagement event to discuss the procurement of orthodontics across Cumbria and North East. We would like to use this event to support any potential bidders with understanding the procurement process. This facilitated event will primarily focus on, but not limited to: — the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics, — Outline of Service Specification, — Proposed Groups/Lots of procurement, — explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), — application support. NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions, and help inform the future strategy. The event will be held on Wednesday 28th February 2018 at Waterfront 4, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 8NY from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. If your organization would like to attend the market engagement event, please note only two attendees per organization will be accepted. The deadline for registering to attend the event is 12 noon on Monday 26th February 2018. Please note that registering prior to the event is required. NB.
