Tender description
Comfort cooling to the CCMC is currently provided via 3 No. air handling units, Ref AHU 1A, AHU 1B and AHU 2, each fitted with a chilled water cooling battery. These AHU cooling batteries are served by chilled water pipework circuits from 4 No. externally mounted water chillers. These 4 No. water chillers have been removed by others. The existing chilled water cooling installation shall be replaced by DX refrigerant cooling. The existing chilled water cooling batteries in air handling units AHU 1A, AHU 1B and AHU 2 shall be removed and replaced with DX cooling coils and the 4 No. water chillers shall be replaced with 9 No. DX Chiller Condensers.
