Tender description
The London Borough of Barnet (LBB) commissioned Day Opportunity and Intensive Employment Support services for Service Users (SU) aged 18 to 65. The LBB set up an Approved List of suppliers that can demonstrate they are able to improve outcomes for SUs through Day Opportunity services. Suppliers needed to demonstrate an innovative and flexible approach, striving continuously to improve service delivery and work with local services in an integrated way. The Approved List is the mechanism for the award of contracts to deliver Day Opportunity services and Intensive Employment services. It is anticipated that the Approved List will be opened regularly as and when the demand arises. NHS Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group may also call off services from this Approved List throughout the contracted period. Flexible short-term employment support for people, who are currently in employment and need additional support to enable them to retain their employment. Intensive evidence-based employment support to enable people to enter employment. Intensive employment support to enable people with mental health conditions and autistic spectrum conditions to enter employment. This service will support small groups of people (Community Peer Networks) to access and autonomously move into mainstream social, leisure, educational activities, employment and other opportunities in the wider community. Support from this service will reduce over time as the service users’ individual strengths are developed, their local networks are built and the group are able to take initiative and provide peer support to one another.
