Tender description

United Utilities manages a number of contracts relating to the provision of gas and power. Currently United Utilities is reviewing how to optimise the structure its contracts in order to maximise the use of its assets. Assets include a range of different electricity generating equipment (CHP engines, back-up generators, solar, wind and hydro) and is also considering the installation of battery storage. United Utilities is looking for external parties to provide their perspective on the optimum way of structuring their contracts. Therefore, we would like to hear from suppliers who would be interested in such contracts and who can provide case studies or references to demonstrate the benefits of structuring in various ways. Please note this is not a call for competition, this is merely pre-market engagement whereby United Utilities wishes to understand what is potentially on offer before we commit to any formal procurement process.
