Tender description
The CCTV system is a surveillance system that is required for our Safer communities service. This contract is for the maintenance and support of our current CCTV system. The original contract was due to expire on 31.8.2018. Although there are other CCTV system providers available, the maintenance for our current system can only be provided by the incumbent supplier. The continued maintenance of our current system is essential while we cover a vital period of service transformation in preparation for a move in hosting site location. During the service transformation review, an alternative digital CCTV solution will be sought to replace the current CCTV system. A procurement exemption has been granted for the maintenance and support for our CCTV system and a direct award to the company that provided the system for a 2-year maintenance and support contract has been agreed.
