Tender description

Hertfordshire and Rescue Service (HFRS) are looking to purchase a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) Software for use in existing tablets. Full details are in the Specification, Schedule 1, of the tender documentation. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to “express interest” which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. Please see VI.3) Additional information for further information. Any questions relating to this procurement must be made via the correspondence area in the e-Tendering system, in accordance with the procurement documents and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above. HFRS have a requirement for a MDT Software system that will be used by 60 MDTs (Panasonic CF33) which will have connectivity through Wi-Fi at stations and an EE sim card while mobile. The backend of the system will need to be installed into 2 different data centres. The system will have to work over 2 data centres with the ability to use only one if the other is unavailable with no interruption to the system. In addition the system will need to connect to Capita Vision 4. The estimated total value of the Contract is stated in II.1.5 of this notice and is for the initial term inclusive of the approximate value for extensions. This Contract shall commence on 1.10.2018 with a Go Live Date of 4.3.2019 and shall continue from the Go Live Date for a period of three (3) years thereafter until and including 3.3.2022 unless terminated or extended for up to a maximum of two (2) further years in accordance with the provisions of this Contract. Please note that the contract requirements will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands.
