Tender description
Network Rail requires the supply of a rail end joint system in order to meet the needs of its internal and external customers. The system should be easy to install, maintain and provides robust support of free rail ends vertically and laterally, for the passage of trains whilst preventing longitudinal creep of the rail. Rail ends should be disc cut. Flame cut rail ends are not allowed. Network Rail is seeking to learn what options are available in the market that meet its requirements.
