Tender description

NHSBT requires equipment, kits and consumables to perform Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) typing by next generation sequencing (NGS) for patient and donor samples referred to NHSBT’s Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (H and I) laboratories. The tender (NHSBT1031) was run in 2 lots (Lot 1: Equipment, equipment related consumables and maintenance; Lot 2 HLA typing kits, consumables and analysis software). The Framework Agreement commenced on the 12.7.2018, the term of this Framework Agreement shall expire in 4 years time (11.7.2022). The following blood authorities are named beneficiaries on the Framework Agreement: Welsh Blood Service, Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Northern Irish Blood Transfusion Service.
