ITT For the Provision of a Control Centre Monitoring Service for the RBH Independent Living Schemes

Tender description

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is the UKs first tenant and employee co owned housing mutual and provides services for over 12,000 tenants across the Rochdale Borough tenants including over 1200 tenants living in Independent Living Schemes and 420 customers within its dispersed alarm/Community Support services. In addition RBH currently has 62 tenants living within 43 apartments within its extra care scheme. The Independent Living schemes and community support services are part of the Independent Living Service which also includes the provision of aids and adaptations, Step up /Step down hospital discharge services and a full range of assistive technology to enhance all the services. The Independent Living Service is part of RBHs Customer and Communities Directorate. There are 26 Independent Living Schemes and 1 extra care scheme with hard wired Warden call equipment installed and manufactured by Tunstall Healthcare Group. Twenty one schemes have the Tunstall Communicall Vision Warden call systems which include full Telecare Overlay. Four schemes have the Tunstall Communicall Connect Warden Call systems and 2 have Tunstall Communical Vi systems . All the systems operate on 869MHz.
