Tender description

The Trust is experiencing a number of pressures on its elective surgery pathway that are currently having a negative impact on it's RTT performance. In order to cope with winter bed pressures, the Trust is expecting to have to stop providing some elective procedures from its theaters between Oct 2018 to Jan 2019. Allied to this the Trust has an ongoing challenge to meet its RTT targets. We are therefore looking for proposals from healthcare providers to help alleviate these pressures. It is a prerequisite that these elective procedures must be made available within the boundaries of West Kent CCG and hence the procurment will be run under the Light Touch Regime. The contract shall run for 2 years with the option to extend for 1 further year at the sole discretion of the Trust.
