Tender description

The B.Sc. course will cater for 70 members of An Garda Síochána, civilian and uniform, at middle to senior management level, who will undergo this three year degree Programme designed to focus on strategic management practices within An Garda Síochána. The B.Sc. in Police Leadership and Governance will be a level 8 qualification on the Irish National Framework Qualification (NFQ) with the possibility of progressing via the Pathways model to a level 9 qualification in the future. The first 2 academic years of the B.Sc. in Police Leadership and Governance will consist of a block release Programme every month being facilitated at the Garda College (Due to capacity issues at the Garda College Tenderers should indicate their ability to provide an alternative training venue with suitable facilities if so required) with Year 3 of the Programme to include a Dissertation or group project.
