High Wycombe Town Centre Masterplan (HWTCMP) - Phase 6 - Cressex Junction Improvement Works

Tender description

Reconfiguration of the Cressex Road/Cressex Link Road Junction. The High Wycombe Town Centre Masterplan scheme is a partnership project between Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC), Wycombe District Council (WDC) and Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (BTVLEP) with funding secured from the Local Growth Fund. Alterations to the existing signalised junction at Cressex Road/Coronation Road/Cressex Link, including alterations to the junction layout to allow for straight ahead and left turn manoeuvres from Cressex road onto Cressex Link and Coronation Road whilst preventing left and right turn manoeuvres from Coronation Road and Cressex Link using standard highways materials. Alteration to existing highways drainage at the junction taking into account of proposed revised kerb lines and surfacing levels. Works also include footway reconstruction carriageway resurfacing, replacement Street Lighting columns and new LED ELV Traffic Signals.
