Tender description
NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock, and Blue Diamond routes and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Direct Route. The scope of this framework is to cover the supply of Hearing Aids, Accessories and Custom Ear Moulds including DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Hearing Aids, Accessories and Custom Moulds that meet the requirements of users with varying levels of hearing loss. The Framework Agreement will provide access to hearing solutions for adults and children with both mild, moderate, severe and profound hearing problems. It is anticipated that in the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases will be circa 67 500 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth. This lot covers a range of hearing aid solutions for adults with mild/moderate hearing problems. This lot will offer solutions which incorporate wireless technology; including but not limited to: — Adult BTE (Behind the Ear) — Moderate Power — Adult Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) — Moderate Power — Adult ITE (In the Ear) — Moderate Power — Adult RIC (Receiver in Canal) — Moderate Power The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 34 500 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 138 000 000 GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended). NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 50 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant Product Line and this Lot of the Framework Agreement. This lot covers a full range of hearing aid solutions for adults with severe or profound hearing problems. This lot will offer high power/ super power hearing aid solutions which incorporate wireless technology, including but not limited to: — Adult BTE (Behind the Ear) – High/Super Power — Adult Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) – High/Super Power — Adult ITE (In the Ear) — High/Super Power — Adult RIC (Receiver in Canal)-High/Super Power The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 12 200 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 48 800 000. GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended). Please refer to specification for further detail. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 50 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant Product Line and this Lot of the Framework Agreement. This lot covers a full range of hearing aid solutions for adults with moderate to severe hearing problems. This lot will offer multiple power hearing aid solutions which incorporate wireless and non-wireless technology, including but not limited to: — Adult BTE (Behind the Ear) — Multiple Power — Adult Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) — Multiple Power — Adult ITE (In the Ear) — Multiple power — Adult RIC (Receiver in Canal) — Multiple power The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 1 300 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 5 200 000 GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended). NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 50 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant Product Line and this Lot of the Framework Agreement. This lot covers a full range of hearing aid solutions for children with mild/moderate and severe/profound hearing problems. Products will be suitable for children and will make best use of technology to provide suitable hearing solutions. This lot will offer solutions which incorporate wireless and non-wireless technology., including but not limited to: — Paediatric BTE (Behind the Ear) – High/Super Power — Paediatric BTE (Behind the Ear) – Moderate Power — Paediatric BTE (Behind the Ear) – Multiple Power — Paediatric Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) – High/Super Power — Paediatric Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) – Moderate Power — Paediatric Mini BTE (Behind the Ear) – Multiple Power — Paediatric ITE (In the Ear) — High/Super Power — Paediatric ITE (In the Ear) – Moderate Power — Paediatric ITE (In the Ear) — Multiple Power — Paediatric RIC (Receiver in Canal) – High/Super Power — Paediatric Mini RIC (Receiver in Canal) – High/Super Power — Paediatric RIC (Receiver in Canal) – Moderate Power — Paediatric Mini RIC (Receiver in Canal) – Moderate Power — Paediatric RIC (Receiver in Canal) – Multiple Power — Paediatric Mini RIC (Receiver in Canal) – Multiple Power The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 12 000 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 48 800 000 GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended). This lot covers a range of Niche hearing aid solutions for conditions such as (but not limited to)Tinnitus and devices such as Combination devices, plus hearing aids that offer significant differences to products in Lots 1-4 ., Including but not limited to: — Bone Conduction Device (Left and Right) — Body Worn Hearing Aid — Behind The Ear (BTE) Hearing Aid and CROS Device — Behind The Ear (BTE) Hearing Aid and biCROS Device — Custom In The Ear (ITE) Hearing Aids Adult and Paediatric The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 2 500 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 10 000 000 GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended). NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 50 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant Product Line and this Lot of the Framework Agreement. This lot covers a range of hearing aid accessories and miscellaneous products including but not limited to: — Bone Conduction — Accessory Tool — Audio Shoe — Battery Accessory — Cleaning Accessory — Communicators — Connectivity Device — Domes — Ear Hook — Ear Mould - Generic — Impression Accessory — Otoblock — Otostop — Otolight — Programming Product — Receiver — Slim Tube — Slim Tube Accessory — Tinnitus Device — Tips — Tubing — Custom ear Mould Tubing — Wax Protection The anticipated value of the purchases will be circa 4 000 000 GBP for the first 12 months of the Framework Agreement and 16 000 000 GBP for the full term of 48 months (if extended).
