Go Cycle Events Contractor

Tender description

Kingston Council is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to deliver the Go Cycle events programme. This would include: - Assistance in pre-event planning activities (in conjunction with the Sustainable Transport Officer) - Management and delivery of the Go Cycle events, and - Assistance in post-event and monitoring and benefits realisation activities. A more detailed breakdown of Kingston Council’s expectations for each of the above activities is included further in the attached brief. The initial contract will be for 12 months. Subject to performance and funding availability, this contract could be extended by a further two years (in 12 month extensions). The potential life of the contract is three years (36 months). Description of contract Aim The aim of the Go Cycle events is to provide a platform to meaningfully engage with the community to raise awareness of sustainable transport options, encourage uptake of challenges and promote travel behaviour change. The events and engagement will also support community consultation and the completion of Go Cycle and Local Implementation Plan schemes. Each month is planned to focus on a particular mode or activity. The order of the focus mode or activity is designed to be built upon over the year as more material is developed.
