Merseytravel are looking to put a single party framework in place for the purpose of transformers and switchgears for schemes and works across the Merseytravel estate. Merseytravel are looking to appoint a Contractor to carry out the design, supply an installation of high voltage transformers along with the removal and safe disposal of the redundant transformers. Replacement of HV OCB Switchgear with Vacuum type, with the addition of 2Nr HV OCB Switchgear with Vacuum type, for Scottish Power incomer 1 and 2. Replace HV, LV and associated control cables. Replace HV cable from Scottish Power HV switches to end feed Merseytravel HV switches The scope of the framework covers all of Merseytravel’s estate within the Merseyside region; however all of the anticipated works to be undertaken via the Framework being expected to be based to works within Mersey Tunnel ventilation stations.
