Block Residential Contract (Edinburgh Road) - Market Engagement

Tender description

Halton Borough Council is currently in the process of assessing options for the future development and delivery of residential care within the borough. In particular we are keen to explore the opportunity to commission an independent residential care provider to operate an ex-Local Authority custom built children’s home called Edinburgh Road. This market engagement exercise is not part of the formal tender process, but it intended to alert providers of the forthcoming launch and to invite potentially interested parties to view the property linked to this project. Please see the document attached for further information. At this stage in the process, we must stress that this is simply a Market Engagement exercise. Providers choosing not to respond here will not be excluded from bidding at the tender stage and no responses here will be assessed or impact the tender evaluations when they are launched. Clearly, we understand that Providers will want to have a good look around Edinburgh Road prior to establishing whether they will later wish to tender. This will also be valuable for Halton as part of the feasibility consultation for this project. We’re opening Edinburgh Road up for appointment only visits on 1st August 2018 and 7th August 2018.
