Sovereign Housing Association Ltd is seeking to appoint an external auditor for it's annual external audit requirements for a 7 year term. Sovereign Housing Association Ltd is seeking to appoint an external auditor to perform it's annual external audit. This should include: — planning and delivery of the external audit programme including liaison with Sovereign staff as required, — undertaking of external statutory audits across Sovereign Housing Association (and associated subsidiaries) in compliance with legal and accounting guidance, — provision and presentation of external audit reports including scoping, planning and findings. Discussion and agreement of the reports with the relevant committees where required, — ensuring senior and qualified staff are provided to lead and deliver the audit, — attendance at all Sovereign sites where required as part of the audit process, — providing proactive advice and guidance on external audit processes, risk management, and sector related matters, — supporting the Group in adopting best practice approaches and maximising value for money, — ensuring the group is kept abreast of changes to accounting standards, practices and interpretation and assisting the group to understand, evaluate and implement required changes.
