Tender description

UKROEd Ltd wishes to commission a research organisation to undertake an evaluation of 7 National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme courses. The evaluation should identify — if course(s) result in a change in the target behaviour, — if any change is maintained beyond the period of the course, — which psychological constructs, behaviour change techniques, and other factors (for example trainer characteristics) appear to impact on outcomes; what barriers to changing behaviour do clients experience, and — how course(s) can be improved. It is intended that the contract will be awarded initially for a 3-year period. The 1st year will involve developing the methods and data collection materials to be used and commencing data collection. The 2nd year will be a full evaluation of each course, and the 3rd year a targeted evaluation focusing on any findings from year 2 that require further exploration.
