Private Patients Partner (PPP)

Tender description

Alder Hey is looking to work with a suitable partner to develop a Private Patients offering which complements its development as a world class provider of Children’s Health services and supplements its Children’s Health Park facility which opened in October 2015. The Private Patients Partner relationship needs to be composed of a range of services which are capable of constant evolution and development and which, taken as a whole, enable the Trust to deliver its ambition of world class service delivery. The partnership will need to be grounded in the cultures and values of the Trust. The Trust values are: • Respect • Excellence • Innovation • Together • Openness Consequently, Alder Hey is issuing this invitation to potential partners to support delivery of highly specialised services for Private Patients initially, with the aim of extending the model later to the full range of services at Alder Hey. Bidders are asked to put forward proposals for an arrangement with the Trust (which may be a joint venture or some other form of partnership arrangement) which is capable of delivering the vision of the Trust. It is anticipated that this arrangement would, as a minimum, deliver the objectives described above, but Bidders would be free to suggest alternative proposals/amendments to this set of objectives. Please note the following regarding the stated contract end date: It should be noted that the CCR2016 normally require any arrangement awarded under the Regulations to not exceed a period of 5 years in duration unless it can be demonstrated that the payback period would need to be longer than this period. Consequently, if the proposed arrangement to be entered into between the Trust and the preferred partner is likely to exceed 5 years, the rationale for this will have to be explicitly outlined and documented. ******PLEASE NOTE FOR THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST STAGE BIDDERS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE SELF DECLARATION DOCUMENT.
